NFP Receives Grant

We are pleased to announce that Gift of Life Nurse Family Partnership has been named one of several recipients to receive the Project AKA grant. NFP was awarded a $500 grant through the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Beta Nu Omega Chapter. Funding will be used to purchase Love You Forever, a book that demonstrates the evolving relationship between a child and his mother. It tells about the circle of life, youth, parenting and the responsibility of the child to care for an aging parent. NFP participants will be given a personal copy of the book to share with their child to further enhance growth and development in the family’s structure.

Beta Nu Omega Chapter has served the Montgomery and River Region communities since 1936.
