The Gift of Life Nurse-Family Partnership Program, along with other Montgomery County Children's Trust Fund grantees, partnered together to raise awareness in an effort to prevent child abuse before it happens.

Throughout the month, grantees held various activities, including a "blue ribbon sticker parade" in downtown as a reminder that the entire community must be engaged to support parents in order to reduce child abuse and neglect.

Montgomery has 15 community agency grantees working through local schools, hospitals, childcare facilities, faith-based organizations and workplaces to provide prevention education, awareness and training programs. With these effective child abuse prevention programs woven into the fabric of our community, we work together to build a stronger foundation for every child to have a better future.
